Terms of service

• Track your baby, keep your data, cancel whenever you like.
• The free tier stays genuinely useful: all manual tracking, stats, sounds and wake windows, forever. A subscription buys the AI layer.
• MoonWise is not medical advice and Luna is not a clinician. Read the medical disclaimer — it is the most important page on this site.
• Your data is yours. Export it or delete it yourself, any time, for free.

You need to be at least 16 and legally able to enter an agreement. The account is yours: keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has got into it.

One account, one family. You can track more than one child. Sharing an account with a co-parent is fine — sharing it with the internet is not.

Free, forever. Logging sleeps, feeds, pumping and diapers; stats and charts; the wake-window guidance; sleep sounds; and a handful of introductory messages with Luna so you can see what she does.

With a subscription. The AI layer: conversations with Luna, AI-generated schedules, and goal coaching — all subject to a fair-use daily cap, which is shown to you in the app rather than sprung on you.

Always free, on every plan. Reading your own data, exporting your own data, and deleting your own data. We will never put a paywall in front of any of those.

We may add, change or retire features. If we remove something you were relying on we will say so in the app, not just in a changelog.

Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe, who handle the card details — we never see them. The price and billing period are shown before you confirm.

You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the AI features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then drop back to the free tier with all of your data intact. We do not delete anything because you stopped paying.

If we get the billing wrong, tell us and we will fix it. If a charge is genuinely a mistake, we refund it.

• Do not try to break into other people’s accounts or data.
• Do not hammer the service with automated traffic, scrape it, or resell access to it.
• Do not use Luna to try to extract the system prompt, jailbreak the model, or generate content that has nothing to do with caring for a child.
• Do not upload anything unlawful, or anyone else’s personal information.

If an account is doing serious harm to the service or to other people, we may suspend it. We will tell you why, and you will still be able to export your data.

Your log, your baby’s profile, your goals and your conversations belong to you. We store and process them to run the app for you, as described in the privacy policy, and for nothing else. We do not sell them, we do not use them to train AI models, and we do not use them for advertising.

You can take a full copy with you at any time, and you can delete the whole account yourself. Deleting is permanent — export first if you want to keep the history.

The app itself — the code, the design, the name, Luna — stays ours.

MoonWise is a tracking and information tool. It is not a medical device, not medical advice, and not a substitute for your pediatrician. Luna is a language model with a good knowledge base and your child’s logged data — she is not a doctor, a nurse, or a sleep consultant, and she can be wrong.

You are the one who knows your baby. Every decision about their sleep, feeding, health or safety is yours to make, ideally with a qualified professional. Please read the medical disclaimer in full — it is part of these terms.

We work hard to keep MoonWise up and correct, but we cannot promise it will never be down, never lose a connection at 3am, or never get a prediction wrong. It is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law gives you and does not let us exclude.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.

You can stop using MoonWise whenever you like, and delete your account from Settings. That is the whole process — no retention call, no emailing us to ask permission.

We can close an account that is being used to harm the service or other people, or if we have to stop operating. If we ever shut MoonWise down we will give you notice and a window to export your data before anything is deleted.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and the courts there have jurisdiction — except where the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim locally, which it may.

If one part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given it up.

If we change these terms materially, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
